UFAR students support French doctors in their humanitarian mission

UFAR students are committed as volunteers to support French doctors in their humanitarian mission.

Doctor Levon Khachatryan is a cardiologist surgeon, at the Georges Pompidou Hospital, France. When the war broke out in Nagorno-Karabakh on September 27, he traveled with a team of French volunteer medics to assist and operate on soldiers and civilians injured in the fighting. He is back in Armenia to continue this same work at Erebuni Hospital, Erevan.

This team is supported by UFAR students (members of the Student Council, students of 2, 3, and 4 years, alumni) who do voluntary interpreting for French doctors as well as psychological support work with soldiers victims of war.

Well done to our students for their commitment on all fronts!
