Preparatory Courses


Preparatory courses for the French University in Armenia are designed for high school graduate students, as well as for those who want to be admitted to the Bachelor's Degree in the French University in Armenia with the following five specializations:

  • Law
  • Management
  • Marketing
  • Finance
  • IT and Applied Mathematics


The aim of the courses is to prepare applicants for admission exams. Participation in the courses is also a good opportunity to get acquainted with the key features and teaching methods of UFAR.

Course Architecture:

The duration of the course is 39 weeks (from September 09, 2019 to June 7, 2020).

Teaching is provided by experienced instructors in small groups, from Monday to Friday from 15:30 to 18:20.

Participants have the opportunity to take two intermediate exams.

The experience of previous years shows that about 80% of the students involved in Preparatory Courses are successfully admitted to the University to pursue their undergraduate studies.


Tuition Fee:

The annual fee for preparatory courses are the following:

Armenian – 110.000 AMD

Foreign Language (French, English, German) – 120.000 AMD

Social Sciences – 120.000 AMD

Mathematics (for the faculties of Management, Marketing, and Finance) – 120.000 AMD

Mathematics (for the Faculty of IT and Applied Mathematics) – 150.000 AMD

The first half of the sum is to be paid until September 20, 2019 and the other half until January 17, 2020.


How to apply:

Applications are accepted from July 08 to 25 and from August 26 to 30. Applicants can enroll in-between the academic year, having an opportunity to attend the rest of the course, paying the appropriate amount.


To enroll, the following documents must be submitted to room 201:

• Completed application form;

• Copy of pages 2, 3 and 5 of the passport or the copy of the birth certificate (the authentic copy is necessary while documents are submitted);

• Completed and signed contract (to be filled in on the spot, for underage applicants the presence of one of the parents, and the parent’s passport is obligatory);

• 1 picture of 3x4 size,

• a receipt for the amount paid in the accounting, room 102 (6,000 AMD).
